This weeks bulletin gives the latest update on shielding advice, the vaccination programme and the Astra Zeneca vaccine.

From 1 April, people who are clinically extremely vulnerable will no longer be advised to shield. Everyone on the Shielded Patients List will receive a letter informing them of the guidance changes and will include practical steps they can follow.

St Bartholomew’s Hospital is now inviting residents aged 70 years and over who had their first Covid-19 vaccine at the hospital to book their second dose.

City and Hackney CCG and Tower Hamlets CCG are now vaccinating priority cohorts 1-7. The following advice on the vaccination programme is the same for City & Hackney and Tower Hamlets residents.  

Homerton Hospital will start administering the second doses of the Covid-19 Vaccine from 16th March 2021 to frontline Health and Social Care workers from the City and Hackney.

There are currently no Coronavirus vaccinations at St Bartholomew’s.
