New website launched to encourage City of London residents to get active

A new website has been launched to promote walks around the City of London taking in historic sites while promoting the health benefits of walking.

If you have problems with your health, or you've had them in the past, it can be hard to stay active.

Walking is a low impact exersice, making it a good activity for everyone to get involved - even when you're not feeling your best.

Walking for Health Short Walks take place on the first, second and third Thursday of each month at 11am.

These thirty-minute short works are available for people with a medical condition which could prevent them taking part in longer walks.

The next walk, from Bank Station to Canary Wharf, back to Bank Station, is on Thursday 21 March 2019.
