Flu vaccination

Healthwatch City of London requested further advice on these letters from City and Hackney Clinical Commissioning Group. The information provided also applies to residents registered with a GP in Tower Hamlets.

The letter includes the information required to log on to the national booking system for COVID-19 vaccinations. When a patient logs on they will receive information on the national vaccination centres and a list of their nearest pharmacy sites where vaccinations can be administered. Currently this is only showing a pharmacy in  Walthamstow. This is the nearest NHS England approved pharmacy.

Both City and Hackney, and Tower Hamlet's Clinical Commissioning Group's do not have any influence or involvement in the choice of community pharmacy to be used as COVID-19 a vaccination site. NHS England invite pharmacies to apply to be COVID-19  vaccination sites.

City and Hackney Clinical Commissioning Group understand that two pharmacies in Hackney are currently being considered by NHS England as COVID-19  vaccination sites. As soon as Healtwatch City of London have more details on these and sites in Tower Hamlets the information will be add to the website.
