We are hiring a deputy director of operations

Healthwatch City of London and Healthwatch Hackney are looking to recruit a deputy director (operations) to improve our staffing and volunteer management and public involvement work.

Successful applicants will have a passion for community involvement in health and well being services, and an ability to engage a wide range of people.

We are looking for a skilled all-rounder with some human resources experience who can develop strong relationships and positive partnerships with local organisations.

Executive director Jon Williams said:  ‘This is an exciting time for us, with the recent award of the Healthwatch City of London contract and  development of integrated commissioning, which brings together the health and social care services.’

The deputy director (operations) post pays up to £36,912 pro rata, depending on experience).

It is a three day a week position and including some evening and weekend work. The contract runs until 31 March 2021 with a possible two-year extension.

Our deputy director will report to the executive director of Healthwatch City of London and Healthwatch Hackney.

Deadline for applications: noon Tuesday 29 May 2018 and interviews to be held on the afternoon of the 8th June 2018.
