Your spotlight on local services

Your Health, Your NHS: meeting in the City, 25 March

People who live or work in the City of London are invited to share their views on the new NHS Long Term Plan at a meeting at Golden Lane Community Centre on Monday 25 March.

Organised by NHS Community Voice, this meeting is a key opportunity for local people to influence City and Hackney's longer term plans for health services from 2021.

It is also a chance for Square Mile residents to find out how their views shaped City and Hackney's services for 2019-2020.

Book your place here or simply turn up on the day. The meeting runs from 11.30am to 1.30pm and includes refreshments.

Speakers include a patient representative, senior City and Hackney NHS managers and a GP.

The NHS Long Term Plan will shape delivery of health services until 2029. NHS Community Voice offers a relaxed forum for people to learn what the changes mean for them and influence how local services evolve.

The meeting will include smaller break-out table discussions with senior managers enabling people adequate time to share their views on:

  • What health services might look like in our local community from 2021 onwards
  • How NHS support might help us age well
  • How the NHS Long Term Plan affects health and social care for ourselves and our family
  • What future mental health services will look like given the NHS commitment to increased funding

NHS Community Voice wants residents to bring their expert-by-experience knowledge to ensure positive change.

Public feedback from this event will help shape City and Hackney's plans for 2021-24. These plans will be published in the autumn along with already finalised plans for 2019-2021.
