Your spotlight on local services

Read our latest report on City of London services

17/04/2019

Our latest Healthwatch City of London insight report shows a slight increase in overall public satisfaction with local health and care services.

Concerns persist with access to services including GP telephone access, booking appointments and waiting times, our report shows.

Most people who provided feedback in the first three months of 2019 experienced caring, professional services.

Dentists and cardiology services received positive feedback.

But people were less positive about receptionists and communication across GP and hospital services.

Sentiment about St Barts Hospital was largely positive while sentiment about the Neaman practice was marginally positive.

Overall, people were largely negative about discharge arrangments, follow-on support and community-based services.

This insight report was based on 615 issues from 143 people using City of London health and care services between 1 January and 31 March 2019.
